Collette smiled and handed me the bar of soap. I felt a second warm kiss a little higher up, then a hot, breathy whisper in my right ear. I climbed in after her and we cuddled up together as the hot water kept rising. Warm, nurturing, emotionally grounded, Collette was the emotional rock in our family. “Oh yeah, that!” I said with my lips still brushing against the smooth skin of her neck, “I got a little distracted!”
I grabbed the handle and soaked her hair in the clear, warm water, then squirted a bunch of shampoo on her head and began massaging it into her scalp as she had done for me.
